Updates

Wow.

So much has happened since my last post.

Christmas was great.

I turned 25 and it was also great.

I went on a date. This guy had been asking me out for awhile so I decided to let him take me out. Went to see Sherlock Holmes and then he took me to Red Lobster. I was very mean to him, and I'm sure he'll never ask me out on a date again. lol But I let him know that I wasn't interested and that I saw him as just a friend.

New Years was also great.

I'm back at school, and I'm on the 2nd half of the surgery rotation. I HATE surgery. I'm at least glad I was placed in pediatric surgery. The babies are sooooo tiny so the longest case is usually 2 hours. All the standing irritates me. I'm extremely irritated when I have to scrub in, but there is no room for me at the table, so I'm just standing or tiptoeing trying to see what's going on while trying to remain sterile. So dumb. I don't understand why they make me scrub in when I'm not going to do anything. I dunno, 2 more weeks till this rotation is over. I have gotten soooooooooooooooooooooooo lazy, it's ridiculous, but I don't care.

And THEN... last week I got a very interesting text message. Well, Mr. Banana sent me a text asking how I was doing. He was asking if I was still single, if I was dating at all, blah blah blah. I was sooo shocked. Why? Because he is married now, and his wife just had a baby. He said he wanted to"share memories." Apparently he kept all texts, pics, emails, and facebook messages that I had sent him in the past. He asked me how I knew that we weren't supposed to be together. He asked if I had ever loved him. He also tried to ask me some VERY inappropriate questions. I had to quickly let him know that what he was doing was WRONG. The past is in the past, I am not that kind of girl and he needs to move on. I haven't even seen this dude in like 4 years. It's very sad, I pray things work out well for them. But I feel like this won't be the last of his shenanigans.
